When you save a route, we don’t just look at the date you asked for. We expand it by three days in either direction — seven departure dates per leg — and compare every combination across the cheapest airlines flying that pair.
Then we dedupe by carrier, date, and departure time, sort by total price, and take the top three. That’s the email.
Why three
Three is enough to give you a real choice without becoming a spreadsheet. The cheapest is usually the cheapest. The second is often a better hour. The third sometimes has a layover that’s actually short.
What we deliberately don’t do
We don’t show you ten options and rank them by a recommendation score. We don’t hide a sponsored fare in slot two. We don’t make you log in. The whole thing exists because the simpler version of travel search is also the better one.
